We keep the team small on purpose. With under 30 agents, Big City Realty averages over 20 transactions per agent a year, while the typical agent across the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board closes fewer than one sale a year.
Fewer agents means every one of them is busy, current and backed directly by the Broker of Record. Clients get an agent who did a deal like theirs last week, not last year, and a brokerage small enough that the owner knows every file.
That is how we have worked since 2012: educate first, price from evidence, and never push a client toward a decision that suits the brokerage more than the client.

Resale: buying and selling
Houses and condos across Markham, York Region and Toronto, priced from recent sales and sold with a full listing package. How we sell and how we buy.
Leasing
Landlords and tenants, from a single condo to a whole building. More than 500 leases in the Upper East Village alone, with in-house tenant screening before any offer reaches an owner.
Pre-construction
We have sold pre-construction in volume since our first year and still do. Platinum access with many GTA builders gives our clients first pick of suites and pricing. We represent the buyer, not the builder.
Lease-ups and leasing advisory
For developers and asset owners: rent pricing, release plans, marketing, showings, screening and weekly reporting for purpose-built rentals and new condo buildings. Developer services.
Commercial
Leasing and sales of retail, office and small industrial space for owners and businesses in Markham and across the GTA.
Property management
Ongoing management through our sister company, BCR Property Management: rent collection, maintenance, inspections and owner reporting, for 6% to 9% of monthly rent plus HST.

Broker of Record and Founder
Nerses came to Canada in 2005 and bought his first property within a year, at 19. After studying accounting and finance and working on the lending side of the mortgage business, he was licensed in 2010 and founded Big City Realty in 2012 with one idea: a brokerage where clients make informed decisions and agents work as a team. Storeys named him its 2018 Realtor of the Year. He still leads every file that needs him.

Seb runs the sales floor day to day: pricing, offers, and the questions agents bring at 9 p.m. He believes buying and selling well is a path to financial freedom, and he is an advocate of full disclosure, so clients make the most of their money today and hold sound investments for the long term.

A licensed REALTOR® with first-hand industry experience, Joanne runs the brokerage’s administrative and sales workflows, the systems behind every listing, lease and closing, so agents can spend their time with clients.
